Jerry D. Wampler, PGA Golf Professional
Jerry is originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia. He has been a resident of Winchester since 1982 where he resides with his wife and 2 children.
After graduating from Harrisonburg High School, Jerry attended Blue Ridge Community College for 2 years and then graduated from Bridgewater College.
Jerry has had a long and diversified career in the sports industry. He was a USPTR/USTA Tennis Pro for 28 years. During that time he played on the European Tour and United States /East Coast Tour for 2 years.
Jerry’s golf career began in 1998 when he passed the PAT (Player Ability Test) and began working for Spotswood County Club in Harrisonburg, Virginia. While at Spotswood Country Club Jerry worked through 4 levels of the PGA program and graduated in the Spring of 2001. Jerry began working for Rock Harbor Golf Course in the Spring of 2001 where he currently holds the position of Head PGA Professional.

Philosophy on Golf:
“I believe that golf is a unique sport. It is a sport that can be enjoyed by men, women, and children of all levels and be played for a lifetime. The sport can take you many places and let you see a lot of things. What a great sport!”
